Khaltse
Hon’ble Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh, virtually inaugurated the Hanulungpa Bridge-one among the 125 infrastructure projects-on the Khaltse-Batalik road near Hydropower House Hanu.
The event was graced by the Commanding Officer, 96 Field Regiment, Col. Manoj Yadav; Sub Divisional Magistrate, Khaltse, Mohd Sharif; and the OIC GREF, Omkar Nath.
Constructed under Project Vijayak by 16 BRTF, 81 RCC, BRO , the Hanulungpa Bridge is a 35-metre steel superstructure. Work commenced in 2023 and was successfully completed in 2025, marking a significant step forward in strengthening the region’s connectivity.
The inauguration ceremony began with a traditional Pooja performed by Pandit Ji. Village representatives and local residents participated in the event and extended a warm and traditional welcome.
